Standard E-code (ECE) lamps are substancially better than the factory "Sealed Beam" headlamps typically installed in most OE-applications. Sealed beam lamps are horrible, as you already know, or else you wouldn't be shopping online for better lighting. Combine these high-efficiency headlamps with a pair of quality high-output bulbs and enjoy driving at night.
